Cinnabons

Dough:

1 Egg

3/4 cup warm milk

1/2 stick melted butter

pinch of salt

1 pk dry yeast (7g)

1/4 cup sugar

2 3/4 cup flour

Filling:

1/2 stick butter (room temperature )

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon powder

1/2 tbsp corn starch

pinch of salt

Cream Cheese Glaze:

1/2 cup cream cheese

1/3 cup confectioners sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

4 tsp milk

  1. In a stand mixer with a hook attachment , combine warm milk, melted butter, sugar yeast and egg .

  2. Add flour and salt and just when all of the flour has incorporated crank up the mixer to high speed and let it beat the dough for good few minutes.

  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for few hours covered with a plastic wrap .

  4. After few hours with a rolling pin roll the dough into a large rectangle .

  5. Spread room temperature butter all over the dough.

  6. In a bowl combine all of the filling ingredients and evenly sprinkle all over the dough.

  7. Start rolling the dough from the wide side into a roll.

  8. Cut into 8-12 pieces depends on the size you prefer.

  9. Line the baking pan with parchment paper and put the rolls in and let them rest for 30 minutes before baking.

  10. Preheat the oven to 350* and bake the buns for 20-25 minutes . If you’re making large buns it will take longer to bake.

  11. While our buns are baking lets make the glaze.

  12. Combine all of the ingredients and with a mixer give it a good mix.

  13. Pour the filling into a piping bag or zip lock .

  14. Soon as the buns are out of the oven drizzle the glaze over the top .
