Cream Cheese Cookies
1 Egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick butter (room temperature)
4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 flour
confectioners sugar
Cream together butter and cream cheese.
Add sugar and beat for few minutes.
Add egg and vanilla extract and beat to combine.
Combine all of the dry ingredients and sift through a sieve .
Mix in the flour slowly into the batter .
Mix until well incorporated .
At this point the dough will be sticky .
Wrap the dough in a plastic wrap and let it cool inn the fridge for about an hour.
Preheat the oven to 375* , line the baking sheep with parchment paper.
Dust hands with flour and start rolling dough balls about the size of a walnut.
Bake the cookies for about 15-20 min or until bottom is slightly golden.
Let the cookies to cool on a wired rack and then dust with confectioners sugar.
