Baked Salmon With Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
1 Fillet Salmon
1/2 Lemon
4 cloves Garlic
salt
pepper
olive oil
Garlic Butter Sauce :
1/4 onion (chopped)
3 garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon
1/2 cup white wine
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp dried or fresh cilantro or parsley
salt
pepper
Preheat the oven to 350* and line a baking sheet with foil.
In a bowl combine zest of a lemon , lemon juice , pressed garlic, salt, pepper and few spoons of olive oil .
On a baking sheet drizzle some olive oil and place the salmon skin down . ( You can take the skin off before cooking but I like to do that when the fish is done its a lot easier.
Rub the lemon and garlic mixture all over the salmon .
Cover with foil and bake for 30 min.
To make the sauce:
Sautee chopped onions and pressed garlic with few spoons of olive oil.
Add white wine and cook for few minutes until its reduced a bit.
Add butter and heavy cream cook for few minutes.
Add lemon juice and herbs.
Season with salt and pepper.
You can serve the fish over steamed rice or with vegetables.
