Tuna Melt

Tuna Melt

1 can tuna

garlic powder

salt

pepper

4 cherry tomatoes ( chopped)

4 slices white bread

1/4 cup mayo

1/2 cup shredded cheese of your preference

1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 pcs green onions (chopped)

2 tbsp Butter (room temperature)

  1. Drain all of the liquid from the tuna can.

  2. In a medium bowl combine tuna, green onions , tomatoes , mustard, mayo and cheese.

  3. Season to taste.

  4. Spread room temperature butter on one side of each slice of bread . That will be the side you will put down on the pan.

  5. Heat up a frying pan or indoor grill and put the bread butter side down , spread half of the filling on the bread and cover with another slice of bread with butter side up.

  6. Let it brown up few minutes on each side.

  7. This recipe makes two sandwiches .
